The Colorado State University Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers seeks to provide its members with a wide range of programs. Student projects, such as the Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge regional competitions, give members an opportunity to apply college academics toward an engineering goal. A mentoring program pairs students with professional engineers to convey practical experience and begin networking. This chapter's varied activities create well rounded quality engineers.

For office hours, the location for the ASCE Office is 1372 Campus Delivery, A201B Engineering Building. For a list of times click here.

"Why Join?" is a question that is frequently asked. Take a moment and read about the positive aspects of joining the student chapter of ASCE...

As a member, you are welcome to join any of our monthly meetings. During these meetings, you will receive a free dinner, and get the chance to meet with professionals from the industry and you can also earn PLI credits at some meetings! We also perform several service projects and organize field trips throughout the year. As a student member, you may also attend any of the Northern Colorado Branch ASCE meetings at a discounted price, or sometimes, free! These meetings are held each month, usually at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland and usually include dinner as well. These are terrific opportunities to get your foot in the door and to put your name to your face with professionals!

We also encourage you to look at the national website. As long as you are a student member, you can register on the national level for free and receive all of the membership benefits that professionals get. This includes access to journal archives, issues of the Civil Engineering Magazine, and various discounts that they have listed on their page.

Please see the Membership page where you will find a copy of the membership form. If you have any questions regarding your membership, feel free to contact Nicole Nasi at nnasi11@rams.colostate.edu.
